Draftboard and Mac OS X
If you use an Intel Mac running OSX 10.6 or later (Snow Leopard), you can run Draftboard as if it were a native Mac application.
To run Draftboard as an app first download the free Fluid application from the Celestial Teapot website.
Setting up Draftboard in Fluid
When you first launch Fluid you will be greeted with the “Create a Fluid App” screen.
First you need to enter the ‘URL’ of the website that you wish to turn into an app.
In the first field marked “URL”, enter the URL that you would normally type into your browser to access your Draftboard account.
This would be https://yoursubdomain.draftboardapp.com/login
If you have Draftboard open in a browser on your computer and you are logged in you can simply copy and paste the URL from your browser into this Fluid field.
In the “Name” field you can enter anything you wish - this will become the name of your application.
Here is a free Draftboard App Icon that you can use instead of the favicon.
Once set up, Draftboard will work and feel like a native Mac application. You can even keep it in your dock.
